​My name is Solène Lamour, and I am a french photographer (b. 1997) based in Tromsø, Norway.

 

I bought my first analogue camera in 2016 and have since developed a practice centred on black-and-white nature and landscape photography, deeply inspired by the nostalgic aesthetics of romanticism and black metal.

Since moving to Norway in 2023, photography has become an important part of my life, offering me a way to find a sense of belonging and ground myself in nature.

All the photographs were taken on 35 mm black-and-white film with a 1971 Canon SLR camera.
